He enters the room and immediately appears taller than most, this well-groomed Assurion with a chiseled complexion and cropped black hair. Lucian Shadowbane is a member of The Divulgators – a C’assian guild sanctioned by the empire to reign in wild, uncontrollable, and dangerous magic, and something else – something extremely dangerous, yet unseen – suggests he carries a deadly air of command and power.  

As a member tasked to find and halt magical anomalies, encountering Lucian brings you into his level of focus and intensity. Once he becomes suspicious, this draws you into his dark gaze and magically enhanced senses. His words accompany this, measured, calm, yet meticulously cold and unnerving.

Lucian’s style of dress is equally prominent, and nearly identical to his mannerisms. While he dons the robes of the Divulgator Guild – black with gold emphasis – his manners are always sharp, crisp, and proper. This, however, is offset by the strange, black sword he wields in battle.

With all these characteristics combined, no one questions his capabilities. Among his close associates, it is established that he uses a strange form of magic unlike others in his guild.

Many of associates wonder of the burden of some past misdeed in his life, but none doubt it hasn’t honed him into progeny of standing among them.
